4th of July Pageant

The Beginning of Summer 2010

My kids absolutely love to swim and be outside. They HATE to leave the house for any reason even going to Wal Mart is a hassle for them now that summer is here and they can play and swim ALL day. My kids usually wake up around 10am eat, watch a little tv, get on their computer then by noon they are ready to go outside. They swim, play on the swing, play in the sand then come in and eat, then do it all over again. They do this till dark like 7:30 or 8 pm. Its crazy ! They finally come in (because I make them come in) and watch tv,computer, eat, shower and go to bed around 10pm. How are you guys spending your summer????

Going For A Walk

The kids and I went for a very short walk yesterday. The neighbors have a few goats and the kids have been dying to get close to them so I took them over to see them. We only walked about 400 or 500 feet and it seemed like forever !!!! Oh! I also found out that there is a creek across the street in the timber. We have had a TON of rain and I could hear water running, the closer I got I realized there was a creek there. I was surprised I came home to tell Paul and the older kids and they said they already knew. How the hell did they know and I didnt? They dont go for walks ! Bremers Sanctuary

On Saturday I had a photo session at Bremers and thought it would be nice to take the kids (Rainey and Jessie) and walk one of the trails after the photo session. I figured we wouldnt get lost because the trails are marked and we did pick up a map before we started on our venture. Well I learned alot this day, first, I am a bad, bad map reader. I thought we were on one trail and we were not, we were on another trail (pipeline trail), then somehow we ended up on a different trail (timber trail) then we ended up back on the original trail(pipeline trail). Long story short, im not going again unless Paul is with me, I take lots of water and this time maybe a light lunch because it sure was a long long morning. Here is a picture of my poor kids who believe I knew exactly where I was the whole time. :)

They were exhausted. :(

1st TBALL Game

Well, We had our first TBall game last night and I am still not sure if Jessie is interested in it at all. He plays with the dirt and practically sits down while the game is going on. He is only 5 so maybe he just needs more time to get the hang of it. It is so funny because all he was interested in last night is knowing if he gets to keep his baseball cap and new t shirt. Gotta Love That Boy !!!

Friday's Breakfast

This is what I had for breakfast today. Matt said I couldnt have that for breakfast. Why? I didnt understand????? Too much sugar??? Too many calories??? Not healthy??? He was jealous???? Whatever the case may be I am a mom, my own boss and YES, YES Matt I can have this for breakfast today and maybe tomorrow and everyday after that until strawberries are out of season or I get sick of eating Strawberry Shortcake for breakfast.

It is sooooo delicious. :)

Last, Last, Last Day of Pre-K for Jessie

Ok, This is the LAST day of PRE-K for our Jessie boy . Next year he goes to Kindergarten. I am always happy to see my kids grows and learn new things but right now I am soooo sad cuz my Jessie is a "BIG BOY" now and I have no more babies. Its good in a sense but heartbreaking in another. I have seen tons of changes in Jessie these last few months. The biggest change I've noticed is he wants to sleep in his own bed and not with me and Paul.

Here is a picture of the two wonderful teachers who have taught, loved and enjoyed Jessie boy at school for the past 2 years. These two ladies are blessings and I am thankful that they were Jessie's teachers.
