Jessie boy woke up on Tuesday April 21 with Fever so I had to call in sick at work. I thought he just had alittle something and he'd be better tomorrow well tomorrow came and he STILL had fever so I called in sick at work again, I apologized to my boss cuz one day is okay but two days is crazy, next day (thursday) He woke up with no fever so I called work to let them know I would be there. WHOOPPEE.I got up took a shower and put on makeup. What a great feeling to be clean!! I hadnt taken a shower for 2 days, (gross, i know but i was home with a sick kid, who needed a shower?). I got to work at 11 am and the school called at 2pm to tell me Jessie had a 104.5 fever and needed to go to the doctor!!! OMG I was freaking, I called the Dr. office they said have him there at 2:30 and give him tyenol ASAP!! I ran home got his medicine got to school and my baby boy was in bad shape he was really sick. The school nurse was very sweet. She was worried he could have a seizure cuz his fever was so high. I have 5 kids and none have ever had that high of a fever. I hauled ass (like 80 MPH, seriously)from Hillsboro to Coffeen then from Coffeen to Hillsboro. I got Jessie to the Dr. at 2:26, guess what he has a VIRUS, $70 later, still has fever and I spent the rest of Thursday and Friday at home with my boy Jessie and he STILL has fever. Im giving him IBUPROFEN like the Dr. said. I have been home ALL WEEK and have done NOTHING, NOTHING except lay around with Jessie. My boy is all better this week and I am sooooo happy for him.

Moving To The Country!!!!

Well Paul and I have been talking about moving to the country for at least 6 months and maybe even longer than that. WE LOVE OUR HOUSE IN TOWN but we LOVE OUR ANIMALS TOO!!! We have looked at houses and some of the houses are nice but too small for us or the house is big enough but needs work or there isnt enough land. The other night a friend named Garrett told us about a log cabin in Walshville and we called the realtor and went to see it and love it!! It has 3200 sq. feet of living space, only 3 bedrooms and a huge extra room ( would be a room for matthew) downstairs. It has lots of parking for all 7 of our vehicles and 2 work trailers,enough room for horses and our dogs. It has a morton building and a nice big pond. Now we need to decide how much to offer and if the owner will take our offer. We made an offer on another property but our offer wasnt accepted and we were disappointed. Hope this one works out. If we move to the country we want horses, dogs, ducks, fish in the pond, little goats, we want it all!!!!

Cell Phone Etiquette??

I was wondering if someone could give me some tips on proper phone etiquette? I think I am lacking in that area. Why, You ask? I do not carry my cell phone on me 24/7. I have a cell phone so that if one of my kids or Paul is in an accident or has an emergency they can reach me. I do like to call people and have people call me and just talk BUT I cannot talk on the phone when I am DRIVING, SHOPPING FOR GROCERIES, COOKING, CLEANING, DEALING WITH MY KIDS OR GRANDBABY OR WHILE I AM AT WORK OR SLEEPING (almost forgot that one). When people call and I dont answer they are like pissed off and I dont think they should be? Is it mandatory to answer all calls? should I shut if off when I cant talk? I usually put my phone in my purse when I leave the house and on the kitchen counter (downstairs) when I am home. I do not have it on me 24/7. I have tried carrying it around with me at home and lose it, i leave it in the laundry room, bathroom, and i just dropped and broke my other phone and had to pay $138 for a new phone and dont want to lose or break it so the safest places are my purse or my kitchen counter. I have discovered that text messaging is cool cuz i can text and then put the phone down, do something come back after a bit and text again.
The reason I am posting is because someone left a pretty crappy message last night on my phone about "answer my phone call", someone I dont care if I talk to and guess what, "you aint the boss of me" and I was taking care of Landon baby, Jessie and Rainey!!!!! NO TIME FOR PHONE CALLS AT THE TIME!!!!!! I just think if i dont answer its because I cant at the time. Is that a crime? I am thinking about changing my cell phone #. So am I an ass for thinking like this? Paul thinks so but Paul is awesome when it comes to answering his cell phone. Just tell me what you think, I would like to know if I am an idiot.
