4th of July Baby !!!!

My first born was born on the 4th of July at 5:25pm, 21 years ago.

I forgot to mention that until Matt was like 14 yes 14 years old he thought that the fireworks at the lake were for him. He thought his dad and I paid for them each year. That story was harder to keep than the whole "santa" thing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW !!!!

SUMMER

My kids love to be in the pool. Unfortunately the weather has been crazy this year. Rain, cold I'm surprised we havent had snow!! They get in the pool every chance they get. sometimes they are in there until 9 oclock at night.

COUNTRY LIFE

We have been living in the country now for 1 month. We made our first house payment thats how I know. My husband Paul LOVES it out here and so do my youngest kids Lorena and Jessie. They think this is what life is all about.

The first picture is Jessie's invention. He wants to be able to go outside at night and shoot his BB gun but he needed light, not a small light but a BIG light. (he shot Pauls truck)

The second picture is my kids having fun. It was a nightmare getting all that off of them. We hosed them down outside before the could come in the house.

We Live in The Country Now!

I havent been on here for a while we moved to the country. Between the stress of packing and moving and signing a new loan I can hardly keep up! I am exhausted. I am on vacation this week and I thought I would paint and clean windows and pull weeds out of the flower beds BUT its been cold. I do not handle the cold very well. Its June and the temp is 60 degrees! Is that insane!!!!
Here are some pictures of the new house and lolo on her pony Ivana. I will write more later.

DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOUR SELFISH????

Today I read an article about a woman in Ohio who had a face transplant. Her husband shot her in the face with a shotgun and disfigured her face something terrible. A group of doctors and a loving family whos female relative died donated her body and this womans face was used to restructure the other womans face. A small child once called her a monster because of how she looked. I cant imagine how hurt she must of been. This story just touched my heart. It made me realize how selfish I am sometimes. I am soooo lucky to have MY life, my kids all healthy, a husband who loves me, a great house, nice cars, food to eat daily, a job, friends and family. Sometimes we forget all the things we have, it seems like we always want more and more and more and some people have nothing. This poor woman had no face, no nose no mouth. She hadnt eaten or tasted food in years.
So I guess what I am trying to say is unless you are missing your FACE or some crazy shit like that, be grateful for what you have, Live Life, Be Happy, Love, Don't sweat the little stuff, it will all work out. Be happy with who you are!

Dad and the kids, he was telling them WHY he started wearing suspenders.

My Christine, she will be a Junior in College next year.

Yesterday we drove to Charleston, Illinois to spend the day with Christine cuz she misses us and she is stressing over having her final exams this week. They were having an arts festival at her school and I just wanted to show you all how our day was.
